Let’s face it, we all have flaws and insecurities that have placed limitations on our lives. These insecurities have a way of building walls that may hold us captive, placing invisible constraints on our progress. Just like the old saying, “You are what you eat”…you are what consumes your mind. Reengineering your mind is not an easy task, as it requires a commitment very similar to the journey of physically conditioning the body. In order to break the shackles of your mind, you must make a commitment within yourself. Until your day comes to depart from this world, you will operate with the same mind, body, and soul. Why not make yourself a priority in life?
One of the major reasons why we allow ourselves to be bound in mental captivity, is due to the fact that we forget life is a journey. For some reason, we look at our current state as a finished product, but the truth is that we are constantly evolving. This limiting belief can prevent us from moving forward, full stride, with the confidence and understanding that we have the ability to maximize our potential. Don’t have the knowledge? Pick up a book? Don’t have the physical strength? Get down and do a push up. When we state excuses we see them as a wall, but they are truly doors. We have the power to turn the knob, by changing our mindset. Confidence is the ignition and Bravery is the engine of transformation.
Stop listening to the fear’s advice and invite bravery into your life. Fear tends to fill you with all the reasons why external forces say you can’t do it, but bravery allows you to isolate all of your reasons why you can. Does your struggle associated with change, outweigh your struggle of remaining stagnant? Only you can answer this question in your life. I hope that whatever has you mentally bound, no longer has the strength to hold you back from living your best life!
